You can Find a Beach Bum and Beach Baby in Ft Myers!

At last we are kicking back and enjoying the beach and sun and NOT WORKING for anyone except ourselves!  WHOO HOO!   A whole month of just hanging out, getting our books and picnic ready and heading out!

Come, follow us to the beach!

Ft. Myer's Got Culture!
We love finding local events and getting out into the crowd.
Free music at the plaza always draws people like us!

Just a short scooter ride takes us into the tourist district.
Here we found a Florida winery with a great sangria:

Secrets revealed!

Tennis, Anyone?
Every morning at 8:00 dozens of folks from around the resort come out to the courts to play doubles. We joined in with gusto, starting a great morning routine: ride bikes to court, play an hour or so, jump in the pool, ride home.  Too bad for us!

Dede's First (Ever) Sports Injury!
(Sprained my left ankle, running for a backhand shot while playing doubles.)

Our site was along the back, where the resort backs into nature.

We stayed at SunRV resort, Indian Creek. The resort had great recreational facilities: billiard room, pools, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, horse shoes, shuffle board, dancing and a great library! We were there after peak season, so it was pretty quiet. We liked it that way! The temperatures were in the 80s and just right!

One of the roads in the resort maze.
We got lost finding our site for about two weeks!

The scooter was a great way to get around. We left the car up in Dade City with the trailer so we could travel Florida a little easier.

On our way out of the resort,
probably heading out for frozen yogurt!

Just to get us in or out of our site,
Dede takes the wheel!
