At the end of March we finished our stay in Dade City, FL, where we have stayed three months as work campers at http://travelersrestresort.com/ (working about 8-14 h/w) We've enjoyed the music community & the orange blossoms, and being close to Kaye-Mom in Clearwater (about an hour), my Dad during his visit and my brother, Chris and niece, Nina. We left the car and the trailer there while we explore FL. Big discovery: kumquat pie. (More on this in my next post!)

for four nights. sweet!

At the end of June we'll leave the car n trailer in storage somewhere on Interstate 10 and head up to Hilton Head, SC to say hi! and bye! to our friends. Come visit!!!! We'll be at our beautiful luxury resort where we lived for five years: http://www.hiltonheadmotorcoachresort.com/
From here Dede will fly north to be at the Britton Family Reunion in PA (June 28 weekend).
Then the serious travel starts!

We plan to work camp for about 5 weeks while we're here. (So let's see, this means we'll have worked part-time about 4 months for the year. Weird!)

I've transferred my teaching license to AZ to I can teach once we get there.
So the fun part is while we were in Dade City we made a music demo and we're going to send it ahead to the places where we'll be and see if they'd like any entertainment! That will help us hook up with local musicians and keep on jammin' down the road!
JANUARY 2014 we're looking at places near LA. We have about 10 places we'll choose from. Oh yeah, we might have to work camp when we get there. We don't know how long we'll stay. We hope we like it and we hope they like us!
